UPCOMING EVENTS

~~~  2025 Events  ~~~
Time to Name our Tall Bookshelf in the Booknook!
Yes that tall book shell needs a name. It holds all those books related to our monthly themes and more. So far we have been referring to is as the Tall Bookshelf, but let's get creative and give it a fun name. We have narrowed the choices to a handful of names and we need your vote to see which name will suit it the best.
So take a moment or two to vote so our nameless bookshelf can finally have an official name.
Remember, voting ends December 31, 2025.
Our Libraries Need Our Support
A time of reflection on this day of bright sparks and whistles in a dark night mirroring our hopes and dreams as we stand captivated and entertained by their fiery brilliance. Let this moment ignite within us a renewed appreciation for the true cornerstones of our communities: our libraries!
Libraries are
 the sparks of stories, the launchpads to discovery, and the fuel for dreams. Within their walls, you'll find not just books, but a boundless array of information in every conceivable form, waiting to ignite new perspectives and stimulate endless curiosity. Just like fireworks in the night sky, libraries are sparks that ignite our imagination and fuel our search for knowledge, each moment within them more captivating than the last.
Let not their hours diminish, nor their services be cut to bare bones. They must exist in their full splendor, as they offer invaluable resources to countless individuals for pennies on the dollar.
Just in Time
for Summer Reading Fun
Check out the new theme heating up the Booknook shelves. Hurry in to get an armload or two before they all disappear into someone else's reading basket.
Just imagine, a tall cool glass of lemonade, stretching out with a favorite book on those hot summer days. A soft evening breeze, time sort of standing still, as you turn each page of the books you purchased from the Booknook. That is a sheer delight.
The Booknook allows you to buy books at really great prices and gives you that opportunity to try out some new authors.  So come in and grab a few -- and the beauty is you don't have to find an electrical outlet!
July travels lead to plenty of good reading opportunities. Long lines and waiting for reservations or just a chance to unwind, books can be a fantastic diversion and make time go by faster.
Where will your July reading travels take you?
