Due to limited space at the Booknook, please arrange to donate them at our Book Bungalow.
Up to 100 sellable books can be donated at the Book Bungalow by appointment.
On your scheduled day, bring the books to the Book Bungalow at 11th & Jefferson Avenue. There's an entrance near a ramp, and a book cart is available for assistance.
Estate or special collections can also be donated using the above guidelines.

We appreciate your thoughtfulness and rely on these guidelines to ensure the books can be resold.
We gladly accept:
- Gently used fiction and non-fiction: Especially current bestsellers, classics, and timeless titles in good condition.
- Clean pages and covers: Pages should be clean and unmarked, with spines and covers intact and free from tears or excessive wear.
- Hardcover books with dust jackets: When applicable, intact dust jackets are preferred for resale value.
- Recent non-fiction: This includes subjects like computing, medicine, travel guides, or self-help that have been published within the last five years to ensure information is current.
- Children's books: Picture books and chapter books are generally in high demand, provided they are in good condition.
Items We Cannot Sell (Please Recycle)
Books in poor condition or with outdated information are difficult to sell and require the organization to spend time and resources on disposal. Please recycle these items responsibly.

- Damaged books: This includes books that are dirty, musty, moldy, water-damaged, or have missing pages or covers.
- Heavily marked-up books: Books with extensive writing, highlighting, or underlining are generally not sellable.
- Outdated reference materials: This includes encyclopedias, dictionaries, and textbooks published more than 5-10 years ago.
- Magazines and condensed books: We cannot accept periodicals, catalogs, or Reader's Digest condensed editions.
- Ex-library books: Most organizations cannot resell books with library markings and treatments.
