We have a copy of the very popular book by Chris Gardner, The Pursuit Of Happyness, intentionally misspelled in case you didn't notice. His book was made into a movie starring Will Smith. With a wife and son, Chris struggles to make ends meet selling a bone density scanner that is slightly better than the current version. He eventually loses his wife, his apartment, everything except his son and ends up camped out in a subway bathroom. Then he sees a guy driving a Ferrari and asks him what he does for a living that allows him to own such a car. The guy tells him he trades stocks. Chris then enrolls himself in a training program at a local stockbroker. Next thing you know, he is making millions of dollars, starting his own trading firm and eventually sells it in a multimillion dollar deal. He has given millions in charity and taught thousands of people how to pursue their own path to happiness. Locally Chris has appeared on the Lars Larson show to pass on his message of hope to all of us, who at sometime, need to know that there is a way out of a bad situation.
